Collation (acquired by IBM)
Collation provided configuration management and change tracking for enterprise web application environments. Collation's Confignia automatically discovered the cross-tier infrastructure using its patent-pending agent-free technology. It then built a complete relationship directory of the environment including all of the interdependencies between components in the application, systems and network tiers. A powerful change-tracking engine and an intuitive graphical user interface enabled IT operations professionals to lower operating costs and improve application availability. Collation was acquired by IBM Corp. (NYSE: IBM) in November 2005.
Colubris Networks, Inc. (acquired by HP ProCurve)
Colubris Networks is a global provider of intelligent wireless LAN access equipment and management systems for service providers and enterprises. The company's award-winning products deliver seamless, secure access to broadband networks while integrating into existing network infrastructure, security and management systems. Colubris Networks' equipment is deployed by more than 500 organizations worldwide, including Swisscom Eurospot, Telecom Italia, Broadreach Networks, NTT-ME, McGill University, STSN, Connexion by Boeing, the Resort Municipality of Whistler, and three of the world's largest hotel chains. The company's partners include ADC, Alcatel, Juniper Networks, RSA Security, Airwave, Funk Software, iPass, and a worldwide network of value-added-resellers. Colubris recently won "Best of Show" for WLAN products at the 2004 Wi-Fi Planet Conference & Expo.
DSL.net (IPO)
DSL.net is a broadband and VoIP services provider based in Wallingford, Conn. and combines its own broadband facilities and nationwide network infrastructure to provide high-speed Internet access and value-added services directly to small- and medium-sized businesses throughout the United States. DSL.net is a certified CLEC throughout the continental United States-including Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico, DSL.net sells to businesses, primarily through its own direct sales channel. DSL.net augments its direct sales strategy through select system integrators, application service providers and marketing partners. DSL.net went public (NASDAQ: DSLN) in July 1999.
EPiCON (acquired by Nortel Networks)
EPiCON developed innovative software that enables Application Service Providers (ASPs) to profitably deploy, install, manage, and update software to thousands of desktops from a central server. EPiCON's unique technology, which extended application management all the way to the desktop, was to be a key differentiator in Nortel Networks' overall operations support system (OSS) for the ASP and hosting markets. EPiCON was acquired by Nortel Networks (NYSE: NT) in September 2000.
Eprise (IPO)
Eprise Corporation was a leading provider of advanced content management software for dynamic web sites, enabling businesses to easily and effectively manage the information contained on their Web sites. Eprise Participant Server was an extensible, easy-to-use software platform for distributing Web content management throughout an organization. Eprise went public (NASDAQ: EPRS) in March 2000.
GeoTrust, Inc. (acquired by VeriSign)
GeoTrust, an emerging leader in Identity and Trust Services, helps organizations of all sizes secure e-commerce transactions, trusted identities and fully managed trusted environments for conducting e-business. GeoTrust's Web Security Services offer hosting providers and businesses with world-class digital certificates, fast transaction security, and patent-pending smart-seals to ensure a trusted identity on the Web. GeoTrust also offers managed security services for large enterprises. With more than 70,000 companies in over 140 countries using its technology for transaction security, GeoTrust is the second largest digital certificate provider in the world. GeoTrust was acquired by VeriSign, Inc. (NASDAQ: VRSN) in September 2006.
Network24 Communications (acquired by Akamai)
Network 24 Communications provided outsourced webcasting e-services based on a scalable, proprietary application platform designed for large corporate and commercial customers. Network24's webcasting e-services were priced based on per event usage and maintenance fees, and distributed through both direct sales and specialized indirect affiliate resellers. Network24 was acquired by Akamai Technologies. Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM) in January 2000 in a transaction valued at $200 million.
Sensitech (acquired by Carrier)

Telaxis Communications (IPO)
Telaxis developed and supplied broadband wireless access products used by network service providers to deliver integrated voice, video and data services to business and residential customers. Telaxis' Virtual Fiber Radio(TM) (VFR) product family was developed to enable direct fiber optic connection to wireless transceiver units and transparently transmit fiber optic signals over a wireless link without the use of conventional modems. Taking advantage of Telaxis' high-frequency millimeter-wave expertise, the VFR was developed to use the large amounts of unallocated spectrum above 40 GHz to provide data rates of OC-3 (155 Mbps), OC-12 (622 Mbps), and higher. Telaxis went public (NASDAQ: TLXS) in February 2000.
Telica, Inc. (acquired by Lucent Technologies)

Telica was acquired by Lucent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: LU) in August 2004.
