Josh brings a background in clinical and academic medicine, finance and entrepreneurship to Prism's life sciences team. Josh is a director for iScience Interventional and CoAxia. He also supports board-related activities for Avedro, Proteon and XLumena.

His professional experience includes serving as Director of Investments for ASM Resources, the venture arm of the American Society of Microbiology. At ASM, he led all venture capital investment activities for the firm's biotechnology seed fund. Prior to ASM, he was an Associate with Lazard's Life Sciences M&A group. Josh also co-founded DrGoodhealth, an Internet-based consumer-oriented medical simulator.

Josh completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He is currently on the faculty of Harvard Medical School. In his free-time, Josh remains clinically active as an attending physician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Joshua received his B.A., Magna Cum Laude, from Williams College. He then went on to receive combined M.D. and M.B.A. degrees from the Wharton School of Business and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
